Altadena Project Manager Rebuilding Homes With Intent

The Role Behind Every Well-Run Project
Behind every well-run Enhaus project is a lot of coordination, communication, and quiet problem-solving. That is where Michael Asser comes in. As a Project Manager, he helps keep projects organized, aligned, and moving forward with clarity from early planning through construction.
Michael joined Enhaus with a lifelong connection to the construction world. He grew up in New York in a family deeply rooted in the industry, surrounded by highly custom residential projects from a young age. As a teenager, he learned directly from his father on job sites, an experience that shaped both his work ethic and how he approaches clients today. Being compared to his father was something he always saw as an honor, and it is a legacy he continues to carry into every project he manages.
Education and Professional Experience
He holds a BA from Lehigh University and is PMP Certified, bringing both structured training and real-world experience to his role. Over the years, Michael has worked on projects across the country and internationally, including a large-scale 1,200-acre development featuring 342 single-family homes and 90 acres of commercial space. This range of experience gives him a steady, measured approach when managing complex timelines and multiple stakeholders.
At Enhaus, Michael focuses on keeping projects clear, collaborative, and purposeful. He works closely with architects, designers, city officials, site teams, and homeowners to make sure each detail is aligned and moving in the right direction. His communication style is thoughtful and transparent, helping clients feel informed and supported throughout the process, especially on custom rebuilds and full-home renovations across Altadena and the surrounding communities.
A Process-Driven, Collaborative Mindset
Michael often compares project management to a well-planned road trip. Everyone should understand the destination, but the journey itself should feel organized, engaging, and collaborative. He is known internally for being detail-driven and consistent with follow-through, making sure nothing gets lost between design vision and construction reality.
What he enjoys most is understanding the vision behind a project and piecing together all the moving parts that turn an idea into something truly special. For him, the satisfaction comes from seeing a plan come together and knowing that strong coordination behind the scenes creates a smoother experience for both the team and the client.
Beyond the Job Site
Outside of work, Michael enjoys scuba diving, prefers driving manual cars, and admits his voice goes up a couple octaves around dogs. He also jokes that one of his greatest small victories is getting all the right materials from the hardware store in a single trip, a small detail that reflects the preparation and attention to detail he brings to much larger projects.
Above all, Michael is proud of the environment he grew up in and the lessons he learned early in the industry. Today, he brings that same grounded, thoughtful approach to Enhaus, helping guide projects with clarity, strong coordination, and a genuine respect for the people behind every home.
